Smith’s Epoxy VCB46P is a two-component, low-odor, low-VOC waterborne epoxy used as a pigmented base coat for full broadcast vinyl chip floors. Designed for residential, retail, and light commercial floor coating systems, it provides strong adhesion, fast cure times, and consistent working time across cool to warm application temperatures. Loose vinyl chips can typically be removed within a few hours, making VCB46P suitable for one-day epoxy flake floor installations.
Smith’s Epoxy VCB46P can also be used as a primer for moisture vapor transmission and alkalinity reduction within published tolerances when applied over properly mechanically prepared concrete. It is suitable for concrete, lightweight concrete, and approved wood substrates when properly primed.
